FAQ

How many heroes are in Loop Dungeon Incremental?
Five: Warrior, Archer, Mage, Priest, and Rogue. Steam lists a separate Unlock achievement for each hero on app 4621970.
Which heroes are new in the full release?
Playsect’s 2026-10-19 OUT NOW post highlights Rogue as a new hero (Blink Attack) and Priest’s new Activate skill. We do not have a per-hero version record beyond that announcement.
Does Steam unlock rate prove which hero is strongest?
No. Global Unlock percentages reflect how many Steam players earned each achievement (snapshot 2026-10-20). They mix node costs, play style, and progression—not combat power.
Where can I see verified unlock steps?
Only Priest’s Cleric skill-tree node is documented with a screenshot tooltip. See our how to unlock heroes guide for verified vs not-yet-verified paths.
Why is there no hero tier list on this wiki?
We lack official damage numbers, full skill descriptions, and node tables for every hero. Player videos and reviews are community sources only.
What do the numbers on Archer and Mage skill icons mean?
Official Steam combat HUD screenshots show corner badges 3 and 4 on Archer’s two skill slots and 7 on Mage’s slot. No store page or news post defines whether those are hotkeys, queue order, or something else.
How do Branch Ready and Mastery achievements relate to heroes?
Steam text: Branch Ready means all that hero’s skill nodes at least level 1; Mastery means all maxed. Global rates are on our achievements page (2026-10-20 snapshot).

How many heroes are in Loop Dungeon Incremental?

The full Steam app ships five named heroes: Warrior, Archer, Mage, Priest, and Rogue. Steam’s achievement set includes Unlock Warrior, Unlock Archer, Unlock Mage, Unlock Priest, and Unlock Rogue—each with the condition “Unlock the <Hero> hero.” That count matches the Steam store page feature line: “Recruit heroes with different strengths and roles.” (verified 2026-10-20).

This page lists what official sources say about each role. For node-by-node unlock costs, see How to unlock heroes. For every achievement percentage, see Achievements and rates.

What does each hero do?

The table separates verified official text from gaps we have not filled yet. We do not state damage, cooldowns, ranges, or hidden node names unless they appear in those sources.

Hero What official sources say Not verified yet
Warrior Listed as a recruitable hero on the Steam store (“Recruit heroes with different strengths and roles.”). Unlock Warrior achievement exists. Any skill name, tooltip, or combat HUD label tied specifically to Warrior in captured Steam screenshots.
Archer Official Steam combat HUD screenshots show two active skill slots with corner badges 3 and 4. What badges 3 and 4 mean; Archer skill names or effects in store or news text.
Mage Combat HUD shows an active skill slot with corner badge 7. Skill name, effect text, or meaning of badge 7.
Priest Launch news (2026-10-19): new skill Activate—“It can interact with other heroes’ skills in all sorts of interesting ways, creating some unexpected effects.” Skill-tree node Cleric at Lv 1/1 [Max] tooltip: Unlock Hero: Priest — Heals all heroes 3 HP every 3s (official skill-tree screenshot). Full list of Activate combinations and effect numbers.
Rogue Full-release news (2026-10-19): new hero—“With her unique Blink Attack, she can quickly close in on enemies and deal impressive damage.” Unlock node name/currency; numeric burst values.

Which heroes do players unlock most often?

On the global Steam achievement snapshot dated 2026-10-20, Unlock percentages were: Warrior 94.6%, Archer 89.6%, Rogue 81.9%, Priest 76.6%, Mage 58.7%. Those figures come from Steam’s public achievement statistics for app 4621970—the same table as Achievements and rates.

For the one node we can tie to a hero unlock (Cleric → Priest), read How to unlock heroes.

How deep do players go with each hero?

Steam defines two per-hero depth milestones:

  • Branch Ready — “Upgrade all <Hero> skill nodes to level 1.”
  • Mastery — “Max out all <Hero> skill nodes.”

Global unlock rates (snapshot 2026-10-20):

Hero Branch Ready % Mastery %
Priest 28.7 18.9
Mage 25.6 17.8
Rogue 20.7 17.4
Warrior 19.9 13.6
Archer 19.2 18.1

Priest leads Branch Ready on this snapshot; Warrior Mastery is the lowest listed rate at 13.6% (same table as Achievements and rates). A lower Mastery % does not mean a hero is weak—it reflects how few players max every node for that hero, compared with how many unlocked them at all.

Is there a hero tier list?

No—and we are not publishing one on this URL until evidence improves.

A fair tier list would need, at minimum:

  1. Complete skill-tree documentation for each hero (every node name, max level, and visible cost line in EP/Gold/Dust/Prestige Pts as shown in UI).
  2. Authoritative skill descriptions beyond HUD badges (what Archer 3/4 and Mage 7 do in combat).
  3. Reproducible level tests (same stage, recorded runs) tying heroes to clear times or failure rates—none of that is in Steam News or store text today.

Player YouTube runs and Steam reviews may discuss favorites; we treat those as opinions, not facts. If Playsect publishes balance notes or full tooltips, we will update Patch notes timeline and revisit this section.
